Club Only Comps

For those interested, our club stout from Big Brew I was judged on Sat 3/24/12

As soon as I hear results I'll post them up.

Awesome. Do they offer style points for name?

I'm not sure about name points, though we should petition!


They did however announce the winners this afternoon.

There was a record amount of entries, 99 clubs entered the stout comp!! We unfortunately did not place in the top three. I should be receiving the score sheets within the next couple weeks, and as soon I get them I'll make sure to bring them to the following meeting.

Top three or not, still a solid beer, can't wait for the Scottish beer competition

And of course, as I get home from big brew II, I find a letter on the table with te score sheets from the stout club comp. I'll make copies so everyone can have one.

If it's ok with el hefe, I'd like to set aside some time at the may meeting to go over reading the score sheets and all that.

Soooo....the score was????????????????????

The overall was 30, not the best but not to shabby. Basically both judges didnt think it there was any off flavors or anything, but was just a little out of style, an I kinda agree with em.
