buying bulk hops

If we're going to buy hops as a group we need to be thinking what we want.2012 hops will be coming out in nov.You have to buy by the pound, but if you want a half pound someone in the club might want the other half.We can allso buy or trade off one and another as the year goes along.I think we should make a list what we want and discus it at BBIII.What do you guys think.HB

I'm in for a pound of cascade. I would do more but I don't have the freezer space.

I'm sure we be down for something, I would have to check out the freezer first though and go from there. Also has anyone checked the farm site out yet? Wondering if they got anything cool coming out?

Hops direct has a new hop called Belma it's $5.25 lb.12% AA Is a citris orange grapefruit flavor.HB.

are we still thinking about buying hops off of hopsdirect in bulk? I'd buy some if other want to go in on it. went to the site last night and they have some good deals but you need to get a lot so you cancel out the shipping.

Another thing to think about is we can get hops from North Country but we have to buy 11 pounds BUT you cannot beat their pricing you can't get cascade cheaper

It would just mean we have to all agree on what hops and split them up

I'm up for that! I bet we can get enough of us together to get to the 11 lbs. needed. I'd take 2 or 3 lbs. myself.
