Re: Chocolate mint stout
just got it in the mail today. damn, that was fast! anyway, here's what it looked like -
judge 1 -
aroma - 9/12
appearance - 3/3
flavor - 14/20
mouthfeel - 4/5
overall impression - 8/10
38/50
judge 2 -
aroma - 10/12
appearance - 3/3
flavor - 15/20
mouthfeel - 4/5
overall impression - 8/10
40/50
the final assigned score was 39. seems liked they liked the beer overall. objetive comments - "well balanced but malt flavor is pretty one dimensional", "slight astringency", "could use a bit more body".
do you have any tips on how i could improve this beer by the looking at the recipe and the comments from the judges? thanks man!
